INTERNSHIP /TRAINING PERIOD /CRRI

Duration – 12 months
Eligibility – Pass in the Final year BNYS.
The Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) students are made to learn and apply their theoretical learning practically on the patients of our hospital and various good hospitals of our system of medicine in India and abroad. Students are allowed to observe and proactively involve in hospital management skills, communication with the general public and VIPs, problem solving and analysis of information which will develop them into a physician of leadership and responsibility.

Can we put the prefix ‘Dr.’ after the completion of the course ?
Ans :-
Yes. Absolutely; because the course is a professional medical degree course of 5 ½ years run with the recognition of the Government of Tamilnadu, and affiliated to The Tamilnadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai, with Class ‘A’ medical registration given by the Department of Indian Systems of Medicine and Homoeopathy, Arumbakkam, Chennai, on par with MBBS, BAMS, BSMS, BUMS and BHMS.

FIRST YEAR (18 MONTHS) PART- 1 (12 MONTHS) - PART 2 (18 MONTHS)

 Biochemistry (studied for the first 12 months, after which exams are conducted by TN Dr. MGR MU)
 Philosophy and Practice of Yoga (studied for the first 12 months, after which exams are conducted by TN Dr. MGR MU)
 Anatomy (studied throughout the 18 months, after which exams are conducted by TN Dr. MGR MU)
 Physiology (studied throughout the 18 months, after which exams are conducted by TN Dr. MGR MU)
 Philosophy and Practice of Nature Cure (studied throughout the 18 months, after which exams are conducted by TN Dr. MGR MU)
